Ice, rest, and elevate it for tonight, then if it's still in a LOT of pain tomorrow, call the doctor.
If the pain goes down, don't worry. It will probably bruise and swell, but that's normal....

I ended up like, crawling downstairs, I got ice. I iced it for about 35 minutes, got in a hot bath and just got out. It hurts so badly, but I’m hoping it’ll be better. I can’t miss exam days.
