That’s really great! I’ve heard amazing things about it, I have yet to get around to it. I’m thinking about doing it on my “off” days (the days I don’t hit the gym), hopefully it will be effective. Congratulations, though and can I just say it’s nice to see someone who exercises but doesn’t need to restrict/fast like crazy to lose a few pounds. ;-; I mean, I don’t know what “normal” eating is to you, but yeah. :)
I don’t diet, I eat almost whatever I want, just in moderation. Any fruit or vegetable is good for you if you don’t eat too much of it or coat it in butter/dressing/whatever. If you’re looking for specific things to eat whilst dieting, I can’t help you. The only things I’ve cut from my diet are fast foods, pop (YES even diet - 0 calories does not equal healthy) and a few other junk-y foods. My best suggestion is to turn to google.
Why thank you. Honestly - excuse the ~preachiness mode I’m about to go into & the length of this answer - it’s not the exercise that’s changed me, it’s the eating. As you might know, I have B.E.D. I still have a hard time with it, but over the past whatever months I’ve started trying to really manage it, I’ve lost so much weight. Back in November (?) when I made this blog, I basically refused to acknowledge I had another ED. The girls on here made me realize I’m not the only one out there, that’s it’s okay to admit to having B.E.D. That was the first step. Then, as you might have also known, I started “intuitive eating”. To see more about it visit this link.
The way I know the eating right is what’s effected my weight loss the most is because in April I didn’t exercise all month (aside from walking to and from places), but I ate SUPER healthy. Then during May I exercised, but I let myself binge a lot. I lost about 10lbs in April, I gained about 2 in May.
The only exercises I do are:
That’s about it. But honestly, pay more attention to what you eat, that might help a lot! I suggest looking into intuitive eating. Good luck. :)
Sorry, but I post what I want to. I’ve said SO MANY TIMES (i.e. right here) that I post things for different reasons. I’m posting those “barbie doll looking girls” because I enjoy the outfits they are wearing. That’s why they’re usually tagged with “bikini” or “fashion”, unless I’ve forgotten to do so. The actual photos I “look up to” will be tagged as “health and fitness”.
Also, there are girls out there that look like that. obviously, they are in the photos. I understand where you’re coming from, but while you’re saying all this you’re attacking girls with bodies that look like that - and it’s not cool. If you want nothing but athletic, curvy girls I suggest you go to one of these tumblrs:
If you feel horrible from looking at pictures of thin girls, you should probably get off my blog now. Unfollow me. Because I will continue to post what I want, when I want. I want to have a flat stomach, I want to be able to wear a bikini and I do not appreciate you attacking what I want / like. YES I want to be fit - have a toned stomach, bigger muscles, leaner legs, but I want other things to. You are not me, you do not have to want the same things I do.
I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t attack those girls, because chances are some or most of them were born that way - naturally slim - and they cannot help that they don’t have curves or whatever.
Thank you and have a nice day.
I hate questions like these because it’s not up to me. It’s about how hard you work towards it, if you eat the right foods, if you put 110% into every single workout, if you are dedicated - I cannot tell you what foods you’re going to eat. How much effort you’re going to put forward. Etc. It also depends on how your body is. If you have a lot to lose, which I cannot tell just by height and weight. You might be super muscular, in which case you would not lose a lot in that time span, assuming you have a low body fat %. You might have a high BF%, in which case you could lose up to about 4 lbs in that time span.
Also, don’t focus on how much you can lose in x amount of days - Focus on eating right, working hard and being the best your can be and see how much you DO lose.
